On 4 July 2015, at the Italian Makers Expo Village, part of the “Fuori Expo” initiative, the Consortium of Producers of Piasentina Stone received a prestigious award for its 50th anniversary, falling this year: the special Prize "EXPO50" by Confartigianato Udine and Eastern Friuli.

From July 2nd to July 7th, 2015 the Consortium of Producers of Piasentina Stone presented its exclusive Stone at the Italian Makers Expo Village in Milan (in the context of the “Fuori Expo” initiatives), during the week dedicated to Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The Piasentina stone was an essential part of the refined stand designed by Fabrica and curated by Asdi Sedia, which brought together 50 other excellent Friulian crafts. The “Fuori Expo” initiative, hosted in the exclusive Via Tortona, the centre of fashion and design in Milan, was very successfuland appreciated by many visitors.

A wide number of industry newspapers, as well as many blogs, reported the event with rave reviews.
