The flamed and brushed surface combines the flaming heat treatment, which causes surface crumbling and a coarse surface, with a subsequent brushing process. The final result is a surface with an evident orange-peel texture that is smooth to the touch, less coarse than a surface treated with flaming alone, and with slightly accented colours.
